17-18 VALLBONA ENGLISH 4 ESO

Today, 9th May 2018, we are celebrating the Northern Ireland Day at INS Vallbona d'Anoia. The reason is obvious: we've been one of the lucky schools to be granted an English-speaking assistant this year and we are glad on Karan's joining us and helping us speak better English. Thank you, Karan!!! We'll start the celebration by watching the video Things to do in Belfast and creating a nice touristic leaflet in groups of 4. Then we are going to prepare a famous Northern Irish dessert called "Fifteens" After that, we'll transform our classrooms into Crumlin Road Jail (4ESOA) and the Titanic Museum (4ESOB) and offer a very special performance. Finally, we'll practise some popular sports such as rounders and netball or we'll learn Irish dances. HAVE FUN!!!

We visited our friends in Pontivy from 17th to 24th February 2018. It was our first exchange with the Lycée Jeanne d’Arc Saint Ivy and our students were very happy to participate in this amazing exchange of friendship, language and culture. They had the time of their lives and they prepared these presentations so as to share their experiences with all of us.
